Cyber Incident Response Support for Small Organisations and Charities

Expert guidance in the early stages of a cyber incident can be the difference between a contained, recoverable situation and one that causes lasting damage to your operations, your finances, and your reputation.

Our Incident Response Helpline connects you with cyber security specialists who can help you understand what’s happening, and work out what to do next.

Call the Incident Response Helpline

0800 1670 623 — available weekdays, 9am to 5pm.

If your organisation is experiencing a cyber attack, ransomware incident, financial fraud, or any other security incident, call this number. You’ll speak directly with a cyber security specialist, not a call handler.

As a social enterprise, we don’t receive government or any external funding and must carefully balance our resources. We’d therefore love you to consider becoming a member of the Centre, which not only gives access to Incident Response support but a range of other benefits designed to help protect your organisation from cyber threats and fraud.

When to Call

Small organisations and charities can call the helpline if you believe your organisation has been hacked or compromised, if you’ve been hit by ransomware or received a ransom demand, if you’ve experienced a phishing attack that may have resulted in credential theft or financial fraud, or if systems or data appear to have been accessed without authorisation.

You can also call if you’re not sure whether something constitutes an incident. If something feels wrong, it’s always worth getting an expert view quickly rather than waiting to find out.

What Happens When You Call

Our team will help you assess the situation quickly and clearly, provide advice on containing the incident and preventing further damage, guide you through the next steps in a way that’s structured and calm, and support your recovery planning from the outset.

Where the situation requires on-site support or specialist resources, we can connect you with trusted partners to help.

Reporting a Crime

If you believe a criminal offence has taken place as part of the incident, you should also report it to the Police  by calling 101. Our team can advise you on this as part of the initial call if you’re unsure.

Need immediate support? Call now.

If you are concerned your organisation has been the victim of either a cyber or financial fraud attack please call our free helpline. Our team will provide expert guidance to help you resume operations.
